After a traffic accident that was not your fault, you should always hire an independent vehicle expert to secure evidence and prepare a damage report.

The costs are to be borne by the person causing the damage or his insurance company.
The costs for legal counsel of your choice must also be borne by the person causing the damage or his or her insurance company.
In addition to the repair costs, you are generally also entitled to the following benefits such as depreciation, rental car, loss of use, holding costs and the free choice of a specialist workshop.

The opposing insurance company would like to avoid these things!
We will ensure that none of this is wrongfully taken away from you.
Thanks to our many years of expertise, we are the ideal partner at your side.

We record the damage within 24 hours and forward the report to you, the opposing insurance company and, if necessary, to the specialist lawyer and, in the case of repairs, also to the specialist workshop.

Classic car appraisal

In order to officially register a vehicle as a classic car, a report is required. A thorough inspection not only examines the appearance and technology, but also determines the current market value. In addition to registering the classic car, the certificate can also be used as a basis for negotiating sales or insurance amounts.

Very competent & fast. I had third-party insurance damage to my car. The expert came straight after I called...the report was with me within two days. The other party's insurance company transferred the money within a week.

  • What is the difference between a cost estimate and a damage report from a motor vehicle expert?
A cost estimate (KVA) is simply a repair cost offer from a car repair shop. This only determines the expected repair costs. We as a car expert can also prepare a cost estimate. This is even advisable. This allows us to determine directly whether the damage is minor or not. A damage report is much more comprehensive and also serves to preserve evidence. In addition to determining the expected repair costs, a report also determines the commercial depreciation, replacement value and residual value of the vehicle involved in the accident. The expert also determines the expected repair time and the cost of a rental car. A report therefore contains all the information required to fully settle the damage with the opposing party's liability insurance.
  • Who can commission a motor vehicle expert to assess my accident damage?
You can commission an expert to prepare a report at any time. The only question is who will pay for it. In the case of liability damage, i.e. if you are the injured party, the costs must be borne by the other party or their liability insurance. This also applies if the opposing insurance company has already commissioned its own expert. If you are the injured party or if you are partially at fault, the opposing insurance company does not have to cover the costs or only partially.
  • Who pays the costs of the motor vehicle expert for preparing an accident report?
The costs for preparing a damage report are covered by the opposing party's liability insurance in the event of a traffic accident that was not your fault. The liability insurance can only refuse to cover the costs in cases where the damage does not reach the minor damage limit of EUR 750.00, as a cost estimate is sufficient for this. If the accident damage is less than EUR 750, we will provide you with a cost estimate. This must also be paid by the person who caused the damage or their liability insurance.
  • Who pays the legal fees?
It depends on whether you are the person who caused the damage or the person who suffered the damage. In the case of an accident that was not your fault, you have the right to hire a lawyer to claim the damages suffered from the opposing party's liability insurance. In this case, the opposing party's liability insurance must cover the costs. The amount of the damage is also irrelevant.
